Child Support 

In Washington, D.C., both parents are legally obligated to support their child until the child has reached the age of 21 years old or graduates from high school. If you are not receiving your court-ordered child support payments, we can file motions with the court to hold your ex-spouse in contempt so that you can go back into court to seek the difference between what is being paid and what should be paid. We can also regularly update you on your child support case so that you are aware of any changes in status.
